Tamarisk IR needed a site redesign and a way to manage the various videos and images themselves. Their marketing company came to me with the design and had me realize their design into HTML and I wrote the back-end programming in ASP.NET MVC 4 with KendoUI widgets.I built a custom password-protected Dashboard where they can manage their products and upload videos and images in a simple user-interface.
They wanted to allow their videos to be viewed everywhere including mobile devices, so I contracted with Vid.ly for their videos encoding and streaming service. I built components that used their API to automate the process of video management for the site administrators, so they can simply upload the video in any format, and it will automatically be sent to Vid.ly for encoding in all formats, and then stored in an Amazon S3 account.
